Sunday and went to church and had some dear friends over for brunch. What a relaxing day. We are grandpuppy sitting so have a little one here at my feet. Gus is a little cutie but so is his cousin Simon. What animal lovers we all are. Met our new intern at church. Another life to touch and for us to touch in return. It is interesting how these families come into our life for a year and then are gone and you wonder what and how you might have made a difference in their life. I know they certainly do in ours. Each one is unique and a spark of light to our community. Going to SF tonight to a service for the bunch that went to Mexico with Jackie O. Excited to hear and see pictures of her adventure. Looking forward to a couples weekend at Inspiration Hills coming up on Thursday. Never a dull moment here. Waiting for word on Greg Crows departure to Iraq. Psalms 91 is his chapter for safety that he carries with him. He will be fine. I believe it. Blessings, ST

Welcome to our blog! Wow that sounds crazy, but it is a great place to start. Ron and I are just home from having dinner with my sister Jo and Ken. Jo had a birthday this week and we wanted to celebrate with her. RT had his last week and we did a bit of eating out then too. Not good for the WW diet. Looking for some good recipes so if any of you have any to share send them our way. I have not learned much of this blog stuff yet so it will be pretty simple to start with, but we all start somewhere on these computers right. It has been fun watching our friends blog and seeing where they travel and what they see, also another friend is in China now getting a new son. It has been very exciting hearing about the anticipation and love they have for this little boy. We also love watching the 3 babies of Mark and Pennys grow and develop on their site. Blogs have many uses and Iam sure it will be fun. Will try to be faithful with news, but for now, I feel I have accomplished enough. ST
